IVORY E. CASTRO - CEO

My name is Ivory Castro, the founder of CATEYE PRODUCTIONS LLC. I was born in Venezuela in 1997, I’ve been an artist since I have memory, the first art classes I took I was barely 4 years old. My father Jairo Castro has always been creative and artistic. My mother Emilia Fuentes always pushed me to do activities such as going to the radio, art, theater and more. In 2016 I decided to study graphic design, over a scholarship in the oil industry. My father always told me, “doesn’t matter what you do as long as you’re the best at it.” Due to the crisis in Venezuela, I was forced to leave and open up opportunities for my parents and sister. I worked very hard in the restaurant industry to make a living for years, and barely ever had time for myself or my art. I moved to Chicago and my new support circle were my brothers Danny and Sander, my sister in law Grace and my boyfriend Enrique Gomez who supported me to go back to school and do what I love the most. I fell in love with Media, Radio, Filmmaking, so the knowledge I got acquired, mixed with my innate art talent and my abnormal obsession for cats, created this production company. My biggest goal is not only to create opportunities for artists like me, but also to provide a spotlight as they build their portfolios, gain valuable experience on set, and showcase their talent to the world with confidence!
